As a birthday treat, I took myself to Chadstone Shopping Centre to check out a new store that has just opened this week!
Muji is a Japanese retailer which has 610 stores worldwide, in 25 countries! And I must admit, I had never heard of it before now….
It’s like a Country Road store crossed with Ikea, with a touch of Kiki K…simplistic design with muted tones…but there is a splash of colour with the brightly coloured pens in the stationary section…LOVE!
Everything is beautifully set out and displayed. There is everything from clothes to homewares, from gadgets to beauty products! And of course…stationary!
Couple of interesting items caught my eye…a wall CD player…and some clever clear plastic photo frames!
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
I felt prices were reasonable – I resisted buying any more stationary…for the time being…and bought two T-shirts.
These are a loose fitting style which I love…perfect over skinny jeans!
And the carry bag was rather cute…
So its definitely worth a visit next time you venture to the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere…Chaddy! Oh, and its located on the bottom floor near Myer..
